The Nxai Pan National Park is situated at the north of the Makgadikgadi National Park , separated only by the Maun and Nata road. During the rainy season, vast salt flats in the park, lure in numerous herds of animals. The main characteristics of Nxai Pan National Park include beautiful landscapes, a cluster of seven impressive baobab trees known as the famous Baines Baobabs, and a water source frequently used by a group of lions. Nxai Pan is the top spot for watching zebra migration from November to April.

Nxai Pan Camp is the sole lodge situated in the stunning Nxai Pan National Park, offering a distinct desert experience and it is located around a lively waterhole, providing excellent views of the pans. A spacious, well-lit, and inviting camp with exciting activities and a cozy atmosphere. The park also offers two camping options being the Nxai South Campsite with two ablutions, two standpipes and Artificial Waterhole, and Kudiakam Pan campsite with limited facilities. Only 4×4 vehicles are permitted access, this is because of the sandy roads in the area. In the dry season, traveling on the roads is quite smooth, however, it becomes difficult during the rainy season.
